Groups

A reservation is required for groups of 10+ climbers, even if you don’t require use of the party room or direct staff management. Additionally, there are certain requirements and restrictions that must be met in order to qualify to run a self managed group.

For booking inquiries, please email hello@granitearch.com. Groups of 10 or larger will not be accommodated without a reservation. 

​

Get ready for a fun and active climbing experience at Granite Arch! Our group rate is $30 per climber, which includes two hours of climbing time. Each climber receives a harness rental, and belay devices are provided for belayers.

​

All belayers must be belay certified at Granite Arch, pass a belay test, or complete our Top Rope Belay Class before belaying. To make the most of your time, we recommend that climbers wear comfortable, athletic clothing and tennis shoes. Rock climbing shoes are available to rent for an additional $5 per climber, but they’re not required.

​

Please note that Granite Arch does not provide helmets. If anyone in your group would like to wear one, they’ll need to bring their own. Self-managed groups do not automatically include the use of the party room, but it can be made available upon request.

​

Important: All climbers and spectators under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian -- no exceptions!

Birthday Parties

Rock climbing is a great way to have a memorable birthday! Embrace kids’ natural ability to climb, adventure, and explore by scheduling a party at Granite Arch. 

For maximum enjoyment, we recommend a minimum climber age of 6-7 years old.

What's Included:

  • 1.5 hours of Granite Arch staff supervised climbing

  • Access to our party area and Adventure Village (kid’s play area) for up to 1 hour after you have finished climbing

    • ​The party room will open 1 hour after arrival time for set up

  • Adults get 1 free climb

​

Details:

  • Price​

    • $37 per climber for up to 7 participants​

    • $35 per climber for 8-12 participants

    • $33 per climber for 13-20 participants

  • Rental harnesses are included

    • ​Rock-climbing specific shoe rentals are available for an additional $5 per climber, but not required

  • Please have climbers dress in comfortable clothing and wear tennis shoes

  • Granite Arch does not provide helmets. If anyone in your group wishes to wear a helmet, they must provide their own

  • Each person attending the party, whether they are climbing or not, must sign a waiver

  • Each climber under the age of 18 is required to have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian – no exceptions

Visit Granite Arch as a group and boulder together, learn to belay, top rope, participate in team building activities, and more! Managed groups are highly customizable, and great for kids or adults looking to have a great experience and learn more about the sport of climbing.

Managed Groups

Late-Nighters

Late-Nighters are an exciting option and great for slightly older groups. They run from 8pm to midnight and are offered with limited availability. This option offers a good amount of flexibility depending on what your group goals are, and GA belay staff will be available for climbers.

Details:

  • $55 per person

  • We require a minimum of 20 participants to book a late-nighter.

  • Pricing varies depending on the number of participants. (link to pricing page)
